On the 18th. I borrowed Nancy's neighbor's Honda VTX 1800 motorcycle.My destination was Luckenbach.
I had driven and ridden past it many times, but this time I was determined to make it. And I did.
I rode west on Hwy.29 from Georgetown through the towns of Bertram,Burnet,Buchanan Dam,and Llano. At Llano I headed south on Hwy.16 for a 40 mile ride to Fredericksburg.
Fredericksburg is a very touristy town. There are a lot of restaurants and gift/souviner shops. Last year I came during Texas school spring break, and it was hard to find a parking spot even for a motircycle. This year I made sure I came when the break was over.
From Fredericksburg I got on Hwy.290 and headed west.A few miles west of Fredericksburg there is a county road (1376) which goes south by Luckenbach.I had to take a side road to actually get to the place.
OK. Now I'll show you the photos I took when I was at Luckenbach.
